Royal Concert Hall, south foyer
Custom made high traffic rug commissioned by Merkx&Girod Architects to seal the end of 12 year renovation of the Royal Concerthall Amsterdam. This one off piece was made on an 100 years old Wilton loom with old fashioned ponscards specially made in Germany. The drawing is a foliage collage completely hand drawn and has elegant shades of greens in wool. The leave wander through the columns into the hallway. The significant dotted ending at the bar refers to the gigantic ponscard made for this rug.
