A new carpet is developed for the counsel of Rotterdam as part of the hole renovation and spacial design done by deMunnik-deJong architecten and Evelyne Merkx.
The chic appearance of the Beaux-Arts-style building, originally done by Evers is enhanced by subtle accents. The council chamber ‘twinkles’ again, in an understated way. Old and new merge seamlessly, as if the interior always has been.
